The spotlight on literacy will be here before we know it! As many of you know, this is our largest fundraiser of the year. We will again have a full meal, both silent and live auctions, raffles, and fun.

Because of donors like you, we have been able to assist over 4,000 students who have hailed from more than 60 countries, speaking more than 30 languages. 16 of our students achieved their dream of becoming United States Citizens in the last year with assistance from our program.

We continue to offer English reading and writing, GED, and Certified Nursing Assistant classes. Our students use the skills learned in these classes to better provide for themselves and families by advancing in the workplace.

Our amazing tutors provide an abundance of patience and kindness to our students,
making them forever feel at ease. Our front office staff, Kimberly and Allya, assist our
students with smiles and compassion.

Our Executive Director, Vivian Ang, developed Mid-Valley Literacy Center
because of her passion to assist others to become literate in English, take courses to
reach their full potential, and fulfill their dreams. That passion has only continued to
grow with each passing year.
